Creonix to hire 105 in Manatee

An electronics manufacturer will hire 105 during the next five years.

BRADENTON — Creonix LLC, a Bradenton-based electronics manufacturer that has been in the area since its founding in 1988, is growing. In addition to expanding its existing Manatee County facility, Creonix plans to hire 105 new employees for its Bradenton operations over the next five years, according to a release from the Manatee Economic Development Council.

Creonix has more than doubled its revenues in the past year, according to company president Ken Piela. He says the company plans on reinvesting the benefits of that growth into new equipment, plus a 25% expansion of what Piela calls Creonix's “Manatee County footprint.”

If Creonix makes all 105 planned new hires over the next five years, Manatee County has agreed to compensate the company with $121,000 in performance-based incentives.
